so i suck at posting

sorry! i just moved to canberra and the week has been a little disorienting, living out of a suitcase gets a little tiring as well. but i mean to respond to both of your posts! i just don't have internet anywhere except at work, and i'm in the same office as my boss...

i hope you guys are both doing well!

this looong week is over, thank god. soon the brothers karamazov will be as well. i have about ninety pages that I might just go to B&N and finish off tonight. i'm pumped for invisible man. i also think i'm gonna start reading some books for next semester afterwards... assuming i take lee mitchell's american lit class, as i lay dying and invisible man will both be covered by this reading list. then, since i've already read lolita and beloved, i've already got like a third of the books for class under my belt. i have a feeling this will be necessary next semester.

It's all right dear! I'm doing poorly with Invisible Man, but I'm going to try to rachet it up and finish before August. Then I need to skip a bit - sorry - and go to A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius so Jason and I have a chance to take that epic drive I keep hearing about.

Don't stress about the posts but do look at mine and think admiring things, at least. I actually tried to be analytical! Come on. I'm about to go post on Summering, since I keep forgetting ... *sigh*

also, at some point can you guys both tell me your tentative reading sequences for the rest of the summer? I remember as we were planning on the sun dial (a nostalgic memory of mine) that things sort of got less structured towards the end, mainly because we doubted how dedicated any of us would actually be. but we've proven ourselves wrong, by george! and i want to know how i should arrange things following invisible man. since claire's reading the eggers next, I think I might re-read lolita or maybe some type of philosophy/theory/non-fiction. or the waves. dammit i don't know. okay yeah get back to me.
